East Java Food Prices (December 15th): Salt, Egg, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are monitored to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (15/12/2024) at 14.29 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, premium rice, red chilies, garlic cloves, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,140 (3.75%) to Rp31,530 per kg. Skipjack tuna prices decreased the most, by Rp1,120 (3.76%) to Rp28,680 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,110 per kg (up 1.22%)
