Latest West Java Food Prices: What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (17/9/2024) at 14.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, red chilies, skipjack tuna, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, milkfish, curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,020 (2.71%) to Rp38,670 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the steepest decrease, dropping Rp130 (2.33%) to Rp5,460 per kg.
