Today's Food Price List in Banten: Sugar and Rice Prices Drop (Saturday, March 2, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (2/3/2024) at 12:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, pure beef, shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,010 (10.27%) to Rp10,840 per kg. Farmer-level corn experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,040 (11.44%) to Rp8,050 per kg.
