Food Prices Today, December 05, in West Java: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Red Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Necessity Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (5/12/2025) at 2:52 PM WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler chicken meat, broiler chicken eggs, Minyakita cooking oil, red onions, and wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Honan garlic, large red chili, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest jump of Rp1,783 (2.52%) to Rp72,433 per kg. The price of large red chili dropped most sharply by Rp1,767 (3.29%) to Rp51,900 per kg.
