The average daily price of branded packaged cooking oil in North Sumatra's traditional markets has decreased by 0.23% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in North Sumatra's traditional markets showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, however, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in traditional markets has decreased from Rp21,300.

Over the past three months, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in North Sumatra's traditional markets has fallen by 1.85%. According to historical food price records on the PIHPS price panel, the price of branded packaged cooking oil in North Sumatra's traditional markets is traded at Rp21,650.

The highest recorded price increase for branded packaged cooking oil in the province's traditional markets occurred in December 2018, with an 11.67% increase, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in December 2018, at -10.45%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in North Sumatra show three commodities decreased and 23 increased. The commodities with price decreases are Fresh Layer Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken, and Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price changes over the past month in North Sumatra Province:
