Today's Food Prices in South Sumatra: Prices of Onions, Beef, and Eggs Drop

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (6/1/2025) at 09.44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, shallots, milkfish, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, mackerel, granulated sugar, and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp2,080 (8.05%) to Rp27,930 per kg. The price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most sharply by Rp390 (6.4%) to Rp5,700 per kg.

8. Milkfish: Rp28,460 per kg (up 2.19%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,330 per kg (down 1.36%)
