Food Prices in DKI Jakarta on Tuesday (Sept 16): Bird''s Eye Chili, Egg, and Red Chili Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (16/9/2025) at 13.55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 17 increased and 3 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include skipjack tuna, garlic, premium rice, curly red chili, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp11,392 (22.48%) to Rp62,059 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices dropped the sharpest by Rp491 (1.05%) to Rp46,176 per kg.

4. Red Bird''s Eye Chili: Rp51,176 per kg (increased 6.62%)
5. Milkfish: Rp46,333 per kg (increased 1.83%)
6. Shallots: Rp46,176 per kg (decreased 1.05%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp45,000 per kg (increased 2.44%)
8. Garlic: Rp42,765 per kg (increased 1.02%)
9. Mackerel: Rp42,667 per kg (increased 2.11%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,733 per kg (increased 1.65%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,833 per kg (increased 5.84%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,706 per liter (decreased 0.13%)
13. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp19,077 per liter (increased 0.41%)
14. Consumption Sugar: Rp18,353 per kg (increased 0.11%)
15. Minyakita: Rp17,844 per liter (increased 0.13%)
16. Premium Rice: Rp15,240 per kg (increased 0.51%)
17. Medium Rice: Rp13,045 per kg (increased 1.21%)
18. Packaged Wheat Flour: Rp12,235 per kg (decreased 0.79%)
19. Consumption Salt: Rp11,618 per kg (increased 1.03%)
20. Bulk Wheat Flour: Rp9,844 per kg (increased 0.23%)
21. Dried Soybean (Imported): Rp9,600 per kg (unchanged)
