Current Food Prices in East Java: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (15/11/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, premium rice, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp4,880 (4.11%) to Rp123,680 per kg. Red chili experienced the steepest price drop of Rp3,380 (10.91%) to Rp27,610 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,490 per kg (up 0.95%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp17,230 per liter (down 0.12%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,000 per kg (up 1.37%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp16,480 per liter (down 1.49%)
