South Sumatra Food Prices, Wednesday (September 11th): What's the Price of Fish?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (11/9/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), premium rice, skipjack tuna, shallots, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), pure beef, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Dry soybean (import) prices surged the highest by Rp1,340 (12.57%) to Rp12,000 per kg. The price of packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) fell the most sharply by Rp880 (6.83%) to Rp12,000 per kg.
