Latest Indonesian Food Prices: Chili, Egg, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (25/4/2024) at 16.31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, pure beef, skipjack tuna, shallots, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, shallots, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest by Rp950 (2.9%) to Rp33,720 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the least by Rp580 (1.19%) to Rp48,190 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Indonesia according to Bapanas as of April 25, 2024, at 16.31 WIB.
