Complete List of Food Prices in West Sumatra Today, What is the Price of Beef? (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 14:35 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, medium-grain rice, milkfish, iodized fine salt, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, curly red chilies, farmer-level corn, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest, by Rp7,500 (17.9%) to Rp49,390 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna decreased the most, by Rp1,610 (4.22%) to Rp36,530 per kg.
