Transportation Costs in Cilacap Regency Increased by 0.05% in June

In June, the price of vehicle purchase components contributing to inflation in Cilacap Regency was 0.05%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 0.15%. Among the nine inflation groups measured in this region, the transportation group contributed 0.08% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for transportation in Cilacap Regency was at 103.6 in June 2024, higher than the previous month's 103.55.

Compared to the same month last year, transportation inflation has fallen by 6.3% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, the prices of components contributing to inflation in Cilacap Regency have grown by 0.26% (year-to-date/YTD).

Based on BPS survey data from June 2024, these 11 inflation groups ranked fifth compared to other subgroups.

The following are the sub-group transportation inflation rates measured by BPS for June in Cilacap Regency:

Compared to 87 other regencies/cities, the highest transportation inflation occurred in Ketapang Regency at 0.21% with a CPI of 103.1, and the lowest occurred in Cilacap Regency at 0.05% with a CPI of 103.6. Cilacap Regency ranked 61st.

National inflation (general) in June 2024 was 0.12%, down from the previous month (month-to-month/M-to-M). Compared to the beginning of the year, national general inflation reached 1.04% (YTD), and compared to June 2019, inflation decreased by 23.07% (YoY).
