Today's Food Price Update in West Java: Prices of Beef, Chilies, and Rice Drop (Sunday, April 14, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (14/4/2024) at 13.05 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, farmer-level corn, shallots, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, skipjack tuna, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp70 (1.19%) to Rp5,970 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp2,950 (5.21%) to Rp53,680 per kg.
