Latest Food Prices in West Java: Egg, Red Chili, and Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 17:17 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, farmer-level corn, and table salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and table sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp153 (0.81%) to Rp19,119 per liter. Red onion prices, on the other hand, experienced the steepest decline, dropping by Rp2,026 (3.92%) to Rp49,633 per kg.
