Price of Medium II Quality Rice in Traditional Markets for the February 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DI Yogyakarta) is recorded at Rp14 thousand. This price remains unchanged compared to the previous day and also over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets has not changed from the previously recorded Rp14 thousand .

Meanwhile, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in DI Yogyakarta over the past three months has decreased by 7.59%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets of DI Yogyakarta was traded at Rp15.15 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of Medium II quality rice in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2018 with a 5.91% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2022 with a -5.58% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in DI Yogyakarta show that five commodities have decreased and three have increased. The staple foods with price decreases are Green Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Premium Quality Granulated Sugar.
