Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Cooking Oil, Chicken, and Salt Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (20/10/2024) at 08.55 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp5,500 (11.11%) to Rp55,000 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the sharpest decrease of Rp8,680 (21.34%) to Rp32,000 per kg.

2. Red Chilies: Rp55,000 per kg (up 11.11%)
3. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,000 per kg (down 3.15%)
4. Mackerel: Rp35,000 per kg (down 0.28%)
5. Milkfish: Rp32,000 per kg (down 21.34%)
6. Shallots: Rp30,000 per kg (down 7.38%)
7. Curly Red Chilies: Rp30,000 per kg (down 5.75%)
8. Chicken Meat: Rp30,000 per kg (down 18.48%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp30,000 per kg (down 15.99%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,000 per kg (up 1.82%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp19,000 per kg (up 2.76%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (up 6.51%)
