Aceh Region Food Prices Friday (May 10th): Rice and Onion Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (10/5/2024) at 17:21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, shallots, granulated sugar, mackerel, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, milkfish, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most, by Rp930 (15.5%) to Rp6,930 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the least, by Rp340 (0.99%) to Rp34,040 per kg.
