Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Salt, Onion, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (14/7/2024) at 15.37 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, dry soybean (import), broiler chicken meat, milkfish, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red onions, granulated sugar, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,380 (18.9%) to Rp8,680 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,110 (2.81%) to Rp38,420 per kg.
