Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg and Chicken Meat Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (26/4/2024) at 17.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), granulated sugar, shallots, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken meat, milkfish, red chilies, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,680 (3.08%) to Rp56,220 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp920 (2.87%) to Rp31,160 per kg.
