Current Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Prices Up, Egg Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (22/9/2024) at 10:36 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, mackerel, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, medium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp400 (3.43%) to Rp12,070 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of chicken eggs decreased the most, dropping Rp730 (2.73%) to Rp26,000 per kg.
