Bali's Latest Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Sugar Prices Down (Tuesday, April 2, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (2/4/2024) at 12:32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, broiler chicken, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, premium rice, medium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,570 (4.48%) to Rp36,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level saw the lowest decrease of Rp310 (4.06%) to Rp7,320 per kg.
