Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Rice Prices Up, Bird's Eye Chili Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (29/9/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 increased and 11 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include skipjack tuna, medium rice, consumption salt, premium rice, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, red bird's eye chili, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices saw the highest increase of Rp650 (1.56%) to Rp42,188 per kg. Meanwhile, red bird's eye chili prices experienced the deepest drop of Rp2,689 (5.02%) to Rp50,882 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 21 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas on September 29, 2025 at 13:55 WIB.

3. Large Red Chili: Rp55,313 per kg (down 3.48%)
4. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp50,882 per kg (down 5.02%)
5. Milkfish: Rp45,438 per kg (up 0.63%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp44,063 per kg (up 1.38%)
7. Shallots: Rp43,824 per kg (down 2.61%)
8. Mackerel: Rp42,188 per kg (up 1.56%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp40,647 per kg (up 1.08%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp39,750 per kg (down 1.57%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,222 per kg (down 0.15%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20,706 per liter (down 0.72%)
