East Java Food Prices Saturday (April 12th): Salt, Oil, and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (12/4/2025) at 14.04 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, red chilies, medium rice, garlic bulbs, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, and packaged wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,619 (3.71%) to Rp45,316 per kg. Packaged wheat flour experienced the sharpest price drop, decreasing by Rp124 (1.06%) to Rp11,618 per kg.
