Aceh Region Food Prices, Monday (20/5): Chili Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The price of several food commodities in Aceh today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (20/5/2024) at 16.41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), skipjack tuna, fine iodized salt, red chilies, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, garlic cloves, pure beef, medium rice, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp5,000 (11.11%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most by Rp2,520 (7.14%) to Rp32,780 per kg.

8. Chicken Meat: Rp32,100 per kg (up 0.25%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,030 per kg (down 0.3%)
