Premium Quality Sugar Prices in Riau Province's Traditional Markets Increased by 0.83% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in Riau Province's traditional markets remained unchanged compared to the previous day, consistent with the price trend over the past week.

However, compared to the price a month ago, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in traditional markets has increased from Rp18,100.

Over the past three months, the daily price of premium granulated sugar in Riau's traditional markets has increased by 1.67% from the previous price of Rp17,950.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of premium granulated sugar in the province's traditional markets occurred in October 2022, with a 5.26% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020, at -7.06%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau show nine commodities decreased and 15 increased. The commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Bird's Eye Chili in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Loose Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality II Rice, Low Quality I Rice, Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Branded Cooking Oil 2 in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, and Branded Cooking Oil 1 in Traditional Markets by Province.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price changes over the past month in Riau Province:
