Today's Food Prices in Banten: Rice, Oil, and Sugar Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 09:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, milkfish, medium rice, mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp4,890 (12.68%) to Rp43,450 per kg. The price of milkfish saw the largest decrease, dropping by Rp3,270 (9.89%) to Rp29,790 per kg.
