Bali's Latest Food Prices: Salt Up, Oil Down (Monday, February 12, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (12/2/2024) at 09.37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, milkfish, garlic bulbs, and red chili peppers.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, curly red chilies, broiler chicken eggs, skipjack tuna, and farmer-level corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp1,540 (13.56%), reaching Rp12,900 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,440 (6.04%), reaching Rp22,390 per kg.
