Finance Minister Sri Mulyani reported that the total budget allocation for the Religious Holiday Allowance (THR) for civil servants (ASN), officials, TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces), Polri (Indonesian National Police), and retired ASN this year reached Rp48.7 trillion.

However, as of March 24, 2024, only Rp13.4 trillion has been disbursed.

As of March 24, 2024, the disbursement of THR for central government ASN, officials, TNI, and Polri reached Rp3.2 trillion out of a total allocation of Rp18 trillion.

The components of THR for ASN, officials, TNI, and Polri consist of basic salary, plus position/general allowance, allowances attached to the basic salary, 100% performance allowance for central government ASN, and 100% professional allowance for teachers and lecturers.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance has allocated Rp19 trillion for the THR of regional ASN, professional allowances for regional ASN teachers, and additional income for regional ASN teachers.

"For the realization of THR payments from the APBD (for regional ASN), we have not yet received the information. We will share it later," said Sri Mulyani.

Meanwhile, the realization of THR payments for retired ASN reached Rp10.2 trillion out of a total allocation of Rp11.7 trillion.

The details are: Rp9.98 trillion in THR was disbursed to 3.07 million retirees through PT Taspen, and Rp168.6 billion to 57,400 retirees through PT Asabri.

Previously, Sri Mulyani ensured that the disbursement of THR for civil servants and active TNI-Polri personnel would be completed at the latest ten working days before Eid al-Fitr. The THR disbursement process began on Friday (March 22, 2024).

"At the earliest ten days and at the latest, it is hoped that everything will be paid before Eid al-Fitr," said Sri Mulyani at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, as reported by Katadata, Friday (March 22, 2024).
