Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Onions Up, Rice Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (19/11/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are milkfish, shallot bulbs, granulated sugar, red onion, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, medium rice, bulk wheat flour, mackerel, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp540 (4.29%) to Rp13,120 per kg. Medium rice experienced the largest price decrease of Rp320 (2.38%) to Rp13,120 per kg.
