Current Food Prices in Jambi: Rice and Oil Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (9/1/2025) at 13:57 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, chicken eggs, curly red chilies, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, garlic bulbs, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,390 (6.39%) to Rp39,770 per kg. Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,160 (6.91%) to Rp15,630 per liter.
