Red Chili Pepper Prices in Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in Bali's traditional markets has dropped by Rp 5,600 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 44,400.

Compared to the last month, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from Rp 69,400.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in traditional markets in Bali over the past three months has increased by 108.94% from the previous record of Rp 21,250.

The highest record for the daily price increase of large red chilies in the province's traditional markets was previously recorded in April 2021 with a 99.74% increase, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in April 2021 with a -51.57% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Bali today show 11 commodities decreased and 11 others increased. The commodities with price decreases are: Daily Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium Quality I Rice, Daily Red Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Broiler Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Curly Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province.
