Bumi Serpong Damai's Net Profit Down 1.33% in Q3 2022

PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) achieved a net profit of Rp918.30 billion in the first month of 2022. This figure is down 1.33% compared to the third quarter of 2021, which recorded a net profit of Rp930.77 billion.

According to the financial report of this publicly listed company (stock code: BSDE), the company booked revenue of Rp7.14 trillion. This is a significant increase of 38.37% from Rp5.16 trillion in the third quarter of 2021. This revenue increase was driven by third-quarter 2022 business income, contributing 78.15% or Rp5.58 trillion.

Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold amounted to Rp2.65 trillion, up 43.24% year-on-year (YoY) in the third quarter of 2022. As a result, BSDE recorded a gross profit of Rp4.48 trillion. This represents a 35.34% increase compared to the gross profit of Rp3.31 trillion in the third quarter of 2021.

In the same period, BSDE's operating expenses increased by 35.88% year-on-year, from Rp1.70 trillion to Rp2.31 trillion. Therefore, BSDE achieved operating profit of Rp2.17 trillion, a growth of 34.78% compared to Rp1.61 trillion in the third quarter of 2021.
