Price of Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets for March 2025-2026 Period

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in Central Java province is recorded at Rp34.7 thousand. This price is Rp150 higher than the previous day.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp34.95 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has seen a 2.25% decrease. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in Central Java province was traded at Rp35.5 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of fresh broiler chicken meat in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2023 with a 17.45% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2023 with an -8.22% decrease.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in Central Java shows that nine commodities have decreased and 21 others have increased. The staple foods with decreasing prices are Super I Quality Rice, Lower I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium I Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Medium II Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.
