Today's Food Prices in Banten Region: Salt Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (4/6/2024) at 09.55 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, skipjack tuna, iodized fine salt, medium rice, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, shallots, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp11,950 (66.2%) to Rp30,000 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease, down Rp3,800 (11.49%) to Rp29,280 per kg.
