Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Chili Prices Rise, Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 14.37 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, shallots, and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,760 (3.94%), reaching Rp46,420 per kg. Premium rice experienced the largest price decrease of Rp350 (2.23%), reaching Rp15,360 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp40,290 per kg (down 1.13%)
7. Broiler Chicken: Rp37,140 per kg (up 0.05%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,780 per kg (down 0.54%)
9. Mackerel: Rp33,000 per kg (down 1.49%)
