Current Food Prices in Jambi: Rice and Chili Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (3/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, milkfish, medium rice, garlic bulbs, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, shallots, red chilies, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase at Rp3,460 (13.84%) to Rp28,460 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease at Rp1,210 (2.53%) to Rp46,570 per kg.
