Current Banten Region Food Prices: Oil Up, Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (21/11/2024) at 12:06 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, premium rice, granulated sugar, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, red chilies, farmer-level corn, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp520 (3.19%) to Rp16,840 per liter. Farmer-level corn experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp600 (7.48%) to Rp7,420 per kg.
