Indonesia's Current Food Prices: Oil, Sugar, and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today have been observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (29/11/2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 3 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include red chilies, broiler chicken, granulated sugar, shallots, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, up by Rp160 (0.41%) to Rp38,980 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease, down by Rp20 (0.17%) to Rp11,540 per kg.
