The price of Grade 2 beef in Jakarta, DKI is Rp 202,950 per kg (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of IDR 156,940 per kg for grade 2 beef in modern markets across several provinces, as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average this week is lower compared to the previous week's average of IDR 158,590 per kg.

The daily price of grade 2 beef in modern markets in DKI Jakarta was the highest in Indonesia, at IDR 202,950 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of grade 2 beef in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at IDR 139,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Java, grade 2 beef was sold at IDR 195,850 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of grade 2 beef in Bali was IDR 184,150 per kg, Lampung IDR 180,200 per kg, and North Sumatra IDR 170,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 16 provinces with grade 2 beef prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest grade 2 beef prices are West Sulawesi, Bangka Belitung Islands, and West Papua.
