The Price of Branded Packaged Cooking Oil in South Sumatra is the Highest Nationally (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of Rp 21,380 per kg for branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in modern markets across several provinces as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average price this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 21,370 per kg.

The daily price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in modern markets in South Sumatra was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 25,100 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in this province is higher, previously recorded at Rp 17,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in West Sulawesi, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) was sold at Rp 24,250 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) in Lampung was Rp 23,750 per kg, Papua Rp 23,650 per kg, and South Sulawesi Rp 23,500 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 18 provinces with sales prices of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices of branded packaged cooking oil (type 1) are Jambi, Riau Islands, and Bangka Belitung Islands.
