Green Chili Prices in East Kalimantan Highest in Indonesia (Monday, August 12, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of green chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 88,060 per kg, as of Monday, August 12, 2024. Overall, the average this week increased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 85,010 per kg.

The daily price of green chilies in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 174,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of green chilies in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 54,400 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Kalimantan, the price of green chilies was sold at Rp 155,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of green chilies in North Kalimantan was Rp 140,000 per kg, Papua Rp 139,500 per kg, and Central Kalimantan Rp 108,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 21 provinces with green chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for green chilies are Central Java, North Sumatra, and West Nusa Tenggara.
