Fresh Chicken Meat Prices in Gorontalo Highest in Indonesia (Thursday, August 15, 2024)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of fresh broiler chicken (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 44,380 per kg, data as of Thursday, August 15, 2024. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 44,410 per kg.

The daily price of fresh broiler chicken in modern markets in Gorontalo was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 59,450 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of fresh broiler chicken in this province is higher. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 36,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Central Sulawesi, the price of fresh broiler chicken was sold at Rp 56,750 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of fresh broiler chicken in East Nusa Tenggara was Rp 56,300 per kg, DKI Jakarta Rp 55,650 per kg, and East Kalimantan Rp 54,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 19 provinces with fresh broiler chicken sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for fresh broiler chicken are South Sumatra, North Kalimantan, and West Sulawesi.
