Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Egg and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (25/11/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, bulk cooking oil, mackerel, granulated sugar, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged cooking oil, red chili peppers, bulk wheat flour, milkfish, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp270 (2.31%) to Rp11,950 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken experienced the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp2,770 (6.9%) to Rp37,350 per kg.
