East Java Food Prices Wednesday (11/13): Onion Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (13/11/2024) at 09.12 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, shallots, granulated sugar, SPHP rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,190 (3.58%) to Rp34,470 per kg. Meanwhile, iodized fine salt experienced the largest price decrease of Rp620 (6.44%) to Rp9,000 per kg.

9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,400 per kg (down 0.08%)
