Today's Food Prices in the Yogyakarta Special Region: Chili and Beef Prices Increase

Food prices in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, rose today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at 13:59 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 saw price increases and 5 saw price decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, bulk wheat flour, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, granulated sugar, garlic bulbs, iodized fine salt, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,730 (10.3%) to Rp18,530 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing by Rp70 (0.61%) to Rp11,500 per kg.
