Latest Food Prices in Bali: Egg, Chicken, and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (6/9/2024) at 12:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, premium rice, shallots, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, curly red chilies, farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase, up Rp650 (2.83%) to Rp23,630 per kg. Milkfish experienced the largest price decrease, down Rp1,490 (4.11%) to Rp34,760 per kg.
