Grade 2 Beef Prices in Traditional Markets for the April 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:44 WIB, the daily Grade 2 beef price in traditional markets of East Java province has not changed compared to the previous day, similar to the price trend over the past week.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily Grade 2 beef price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp114.9 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily Grade 2 beef price in East Java's traditional markets over the past three months has decreased by 0.82%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, the daily Grade 2 beef price in East Java province's traditional markets is traded at Rp116.15 thousand.

The record increase in daily Grade 2 beef prices in traditional markets of this province was previously recorded in May 2021 with a 6.49% rise, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2016 with a -5.8% drop.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine staple foods (sembako) in East Java show that 12 commodities have decreased and 18 others have increased. The sembako with price decreases are Chicken Eggs, Medium-sized Shallots, Garlic, Shallots, Medium-sized Garlic, Fresh Free-range Chicken Eggs, Premium Grade Granulated Sugar, Local Granulated Sugar, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili, Granulated Sugar, and Large Red Chili.
