Lampung Region Food Prices Saturday (7/12): Chili Prices Up, Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Saturday (7/12/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, Indian mackerel, curly red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, pure beef, milkfish, chicken eggs, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,070 (4.55%), reaching Rp24,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) experienced the largest decrease of Rp200 (1.91%), reaching Rp10,280 per kg.
