East Java Food Price List Today: Chili and Egg Prices Rise (Sunday, February 4, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (4/2/2024) at 10:07 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp580 (6.0%) to Rp10,250 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp6,130 (18.34%) to Rp27,300 per kg.
