Bali Food Prices on Monday, January 6th: What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (6/1/2025) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), red chili peppers, farmer-level corn, mackerel fish, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase of Rp6,770 (7.26%) to Rp99,990 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,820 (12.54%) to Rp26,640 per kg.
